COURSE : B.Arch. (Bachelor of Architecture)
DURATION : 5 Year (Full Time)
ELIGIBILITY : Physics, Chemistry,  Mathematics at 10+2 or Mathematics at 10+3 (diploma)   and  NATA (National Aptitude test in Architecture) score or JEE MAINS Paper II Architecture.

Teaching Learning Process

PROGRESSIVE PRACTICE

Collection of requests for additional books from students and staff to keep the library updated with current and future requirements.

Numerous rewards and incentives for students and faculty members to promote excellence in performance in respective areas.

The college promotes hands on practical experience for the students by way of Including Projects right from fourth semester onwards in form of mini and major projects.

Use of Educational aids such as LCD and overhead projector on regular basis.

Periodical Seminars, Experts lectures by senior faculty members and outside experts.

Orientation program for fresh students and necessary steps to maintain discipline in the campus.

Extra classes for weak students, who do not pass examination in one attempt.

Communication of progress of the students to their parents at regular intervals.

Orientation program for newly recruited faculty members, conducted by senior faculty members and outside experts.

Feedback on the performance of faculty members from students and senior faculty members ( who attend some of the lectures as an observer).

Compiling past examination questions & preparing model answers and making them available to students in the library.

INNOVATIVE PRACTICE

All the above seven departments attend a monthly Audit Meeting called by High Power Committee members including Chairman, Director, Principal etc. for a complete review & subsequent planning of the departmental activities.

A specialized department “III & SSD” – Industry Institute Interaction and Student and staff Development has been created to forge better Industry Institute Interactions and ensure continuous developments of students and staff.

The college has fully functional centres for Innovation & Entrepreneurship.

College conducts regularly JOB FAIR- A unique placement extravaganza wherein students from not only our college but students from all across the state get to participate in it for placements.

A Unique indigenously developed tool “Teaching Diary” for purpose of academic planning and monitoring of subject delivery in a class, implemented for every subject in all semesters. The Teaching Diary helps implementers of teaching process to keep track of progress and take corrective measures for any variation in time.

Laboratories and libraries are kept open for twelve hours a day, facilitating usage of the facilities by students and staff in extra hours as well.

Specially deputed In charges for Students Developments exist to monitor students developments, progress and counseling for carrier guidance.

Campus

Thickly wooded afforestation belt, the homely residential colony nearby, sprawling lawns and meticulously tended gardens on the natural landscape where H.C.A.T.P. is located, satisfy the parameters of an ancient “GURUKUL”. The new site offers unique scenic beauty and the atmosphere is free from pollution. The efforts are on to preserve this unique environment.

Sprawling over on a lush 2.88 acres of land, H.C.A.T.P. campus is just a 20 minutes drive from the heart of the city. The institute boasts of super infrastructure consisting of main building, with well equipped class rooms, an open air auditorium, a well stocked library and computer centers for B.Arch. Courses.

The new building of H.C.A.T.P. comprises Core building, Workshops, Lecture Theatres, Tutorial Class rooms, Drawing Halls, Seminar Halls, Students Activities Centre, Open Air Theatre, Basketball, Volleyball Courts and other amenities.
